In a channel set eternity ring, each stone is set girdle to girdle within the channel of the ring. Below each diamond is a opening, called an azure, that allows light in as well as provides a way to clean professionally clean the stones from underneath.
The shared prong eterntiy ring is by far the most popular. Each stone "shares" prongs with the next diamond provided a complete cirle of diamond and minimal about of metal. The gallery is closed on the shared prong providing a very secure and stable setting.
The open gallery setting is more intricate than the channel or shared prong and thus more delicate. As you can see in the side view the gallery is open on the side of the ring. For security of the diamond, the open gallery eternity ring is not recommended for the smaller carat weight rings. We recommend this setting for carat weights above 1.5tcw.
The bezel, also referred to as burnish set eternity ring is quite functional in that each stone is set down and flush with the metal with an opening underneath each stone. This style can also be finished in either a satin or high polish to match any engagement ring.
The bar setting style is typically used for combination of stone cuts as illustrated here with round brilliants and emerald cut stones. The bar setting is both elegant and very sercure for all carat weights and is available for combining different stones such as diamond and sapphire, use your imagination!
This combination style is typical in the designer eternity ring collection and is very fuctional. You can set your favorite colored gem stone down the middle or outside rows or alternating with diamond is very popular. This channel and bezel set band is 5.5mm wide.
The duet is our most elegant and is ideal for showing off the brilliance of the two rows of diamonds. Shown here in a 8.0tcw, 32 F, VS .25ct each diamonds. The band is 6mm wide. The style can be made in 2.0 to 8.0 total carats.
