A trade-off between color and clarity depends on other factors such as size and cut and also the design of the setting. Color of yellow or green;white or rose color gold affect the hue of the gem. Today,many combinations using other metals and enamel; bi-color or tri-color gold are again seen in contemporary as in vintage designs. I have become particulary intriged by bright yellow.in the major stone. With that comment, I wish to ask the question, What provides the brightest hue of goldem gem? Diamond, sapphire, citrine,or other gem?
